For Cocaine , just use flour. You can stick your face in a bag of it and make all kinds of snorting and sniffing sounds without actually ingesting the floor.. and when you look up it'll look good with all of it clinging to your face like Scarface. Sugar wont really work good for that, but sugar is a...

You shood do a scene where a guy gets his adams apple ripped out or eyes. That would look cool if your looking to do a violent movie. You should stick basic stuff too(punches, kicks, jumps, hand movements).

For our tests, we used baby powder instead of the talcon powder you used. Do you think one is better to use for this effect than the other?

Yah the squibs we made made wernt even that tightly compacted so thats mainly why there was no blood seen. Condoms do work very good, and they can hold alot more than what we used.

All we had were the finger parts of a rubber glove as the squibs and some firecrackers. Yes it did come out horrible, but we were basically doing those for fun. Yah we were p*** too that you coodnt see anyblood except for the first one wich sprayed pretty far if you were there in person(cant really ...

Me and DEDFX tried out this bullet hit method yesterday. They came out ok, but not as good as yours because we had no powder. We used this sand-like gravel and dirt. I have to say its kinda hard to get the timing down too. I guess we need more practice if we're going to perfect it. Tree hits were al...

Basically, I emptied out a party popper and put different amounts of talcon powder in (more for ground shots, less for bullet hits) then gaffer tape to the body, extended the string with a shoestring or nylon string (depending on the length needed) and pull! I have been out and made some more so i'...

Garry King said squibs cost more, like sometimes $1,000 each... remember =JDL=?¿ ya, you can make a blood effect non-digitally without CGI, or squibs. Im not just talking about gunshot wounds, im talking about anything. But in the end i think this all comes down to opinion. Some people lile CGI....

It cost more to get a squib set up than to add a smoke puff or blood.
How do you figure? What about computer software expenses? Last i heard they cost a butt load of money. Not everone uses squibs either.
