Have you guys heard of this game?





I put it in general film-making stuff because in the game, you run your own film studio starting from the 1920's to beyond (SimCity), you have to take care of actors so they don't start doing drugs or walk off the set (The Sims), and you get to make your own movies with your own script, own voice actors (need a microphone, or you don't need voice actors), own camera angles, and your own direction (I don't know, uh- real life?).

But if you don't know about this game, find out about it! It looks really good, and after being delayed four times for almost a year it should be really good. It comes out right now, sometime in November.

Yeah, The Movies looks promising. Specifically, it looks like it just might be an EXCELLENT tool for machinima (which is always a good thing!). No details are really out on the gameplay yet, so who knows how that's gonna be.

yeah it looks gud, i hope its very broad and not linear so u can
have freedom to do wat you want. i wouldnt get it on a console. pc version looks the best cos of all the features

I didnt know it was a game, I thought it was just something I saw on a IFC commercial.

i have been following this game ever since it was annonced last summer, i have been waiting for this, it was supposed to come out in june,. but you know video games they always change the dates, this look like a sweet game

yah i too heard about this a while back and have been wondering too when it was coming out. Looks like its going to be a goodie.

I looked through alot of magazines and the gameplay really looks like for managment part like the Sims or SimCity interface. But when I comes to making the movies, you use like little sliders to change from camera to camera, or turn the slider down for less action or up for more. Like love scenes, the slider is down, they are wispering in each other's ear, all the way up and... well... you know.

But for the PC it does look the best, because you can download new items or other stuff and it makes posting your movies much easier.

ok i bought it thursday and i played it for four hours the first day two the second and about four today its a crappin good game although you cannot [ick the camera shots really, you have to choose from a list
