FREE ANIMATION PROGRAM...read on

Post by SammyJim »

HELLO! its me again

after wandering the cyber streets of brickfilms.com and animatecaly.com i found my self here again asking the question-

is there a free downloadable program that lets you put images from a dv camera together into a anmiation.
eg: i want to animate a clay t rex eating someone in a field.
>>i have no usb connection in a field- no stop mo.
>> camcorder- i have one of those! i cant seem to do stop mo in it though...or can i? wink wink, thats the bit where you come in...

and i really do want to do it that way because i love the old style of it: King Kong, Mysterious Island...

any help would be very much appreciated and appreciated very much!

Here's a stop motion animation program: http://www.bensoftware.com/ (I think it's free, but it might not be)

If you have a normal camcorder connected to the computer, just about any stopmotion software will let you use it as a stop motion camera.

i have always wondered about stop motion, click, move, click, can you just click record on camcorder then stop recording or, take a digital photo or what?

Don't try stop motion in a field witht he thing unless its set to scale, do it the easy way. Film your stop motion infront of a blue background then when your done get footage of a field. When editing make it so the blue is gone (chromakey) then put it ion the center of the field.
