Students should be allowed to chew gum in school because it: relaxes and eases tension, freshens breath, helps on to stay alert and awake, moistens mouth, helps concentration, helps resist the urge to smoke, acts as a pleasant way to take vitamins and medicine, reduces discomfort when flying, satisfies snack craving, cleans teeth after meals, and It’s fun!
Students will be allowed to chew gum-any sort- whenever they want during anytime they choose in the school-day.
Need: Kids these days need something to help them freshen their breath- it is very embarrassing when you go up to talk to someone and they back up or say “oh, go brush your teeth!â€
