Applying Prosthetics

Post by DarkElastic »

Does anyone have, or know of any tutorial for Applying, dressing up with make-up, and safely removing Prosthetics upon the skin. I do think this would be very useful to our proposed studio, and myself.

Questions like:
What is the glue called which attaches the Prosthetics to the skin?
What do you use to remove the prosthetic, thus removing the adhesive properties of the glue?
What is the best/cheapest make-up pack to get (best results for the price)?
Etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fist two: Spirit gum to put it on, then (logically) spirit gum remover to take it off. Thats about all I know, but it's a start.

I found this site which has some nice prosthetics for sale, and what they can look like with good make-up application. But, it is getting to this level.

prosaide, pro adhesive, spirit gum are all adhesives that can be used. isopropyl myristate will remove them.
