I have two questions regarding Adobe Premiere Pro 7
First off, I would like to know how to get rid of the excess black screen around my video?
You can view the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CycKNDN8_1c
I'd rather have the rest of the actual video take up that space and not leave a huge black border.
Also I have a blood splat effect with a white background from Detonation films.
It says I should use the multiply key to remove the white background. But this doens't seem to work for me.
Thanks!

RE: Multiply Key - Screen Size
no the multiply key is different in premiere, use chroma key and set the colour to white. to get rid of the black edges, just make your video bigger. its very low quality...

The Chroma key does a VERY poor job of removing the white....
I know that using the LUMA key removes the black background in any animation...

Chroma key for some reason, doesn't appear to do as well as a job as Luna key does for a black background.
How can I make my video bigger?

Re: RE: Multiply Key - Screen Size
The chroma key is for keying out a particular color. You have to play with the settings to get it to key out more or less of the color. The luna key actually makes all black transparent. Meaning that if a pixel is 50% red and 50% black, after luna key it'll be a 50% red pixel. So they're fundamentally different, you need to try to understand how each one works and learn to use them correctly, and you'll be able to get what you need done.Skanza wrote:Chroma key for some reason, doesn't appear to do as well as a job as Luna key does for a black background.
