Hi, id just like some feedback on my editing system...

Spec:
Apple Powermac G5 dual processor 2.7ghz
half a terrabyte on two 250g HDDs
2.5g ram
two Dell 17inch flats
m-audio revolution 7.1 sound card
Creative inspire 7.1 speaker system

Ive also got my new black 2ghz MacBook whic i use for everything else.

Running Final Cut Studio.

Im soon to ad a cannon XL2 to the system.

What do you think? :-D

I think it's too clean. Stack some paper around your keyboards. It makes you look important, just like my table does. ;)

Yay Macs, and the setup is awesome.
I'm still editing on a G4... How does the 2Ghz Macbook run?

Hi, the desk is usualy covered in tapes ant time sheets, i tidied it up for the phot :-)

the macbook is ok, not a serious editing machine though. I put most of it down to the lack of ram, its still only got the standard 512mb in it, if you look at the system analizer thing FCP maxes the ram out. You can edit on it, but its not that easy, it kicks up abit of a fuss sometimes.
