Well, i am editing a sports game. And i want to make a transition like ESPN does. How can i achieve this?

Hmm, you could create the image in photoshop or some other program and use FCP. motion or shake to animate it so it zooms into frame. You can then ad a simple wipe behind the grapic to make the transition.
Im pretty sure i could do that with not too many problems....
