New Flashmation

Hey guys, heres my character. I'm bored tonight and have to get ready for animation at school in 4 days so I made him. He'll probably be running to a Burger King or something. Also he has no shorts, I'll post the vid tomorrow morning.

He's made of 8 layers (if that means anything to you), click on him for a bigger picture.

Well theres no flash animation here, unlike what your topic said.

I was hoping to see some random cartoons. It would be alot cooler if you posted it when you were done. Not some naked guy with no pants.

Hmmm... a picture, I know how hard it to animate, so I suppose that is pretty good, but I agree with KiethP dude, post it when you have something to show us, other than a picture. Still I like that dude, you have to give him a name though...

I purpose we call it Tubby Tits. LOL. Or just call him like Bob. Hes to plain to give him a cool name like Jecht or something. Don't take Jecht it = ff10 name. I dunno make it some crazy cartoony name where the first letter in each name are the same. Like "B"ugs "B"unny. Fat Frank. lawl.

Sorry everyone, it will take longer than I hoped for. Theres so many layers and if you guys know anything about flash I'm trying to make him run which is hard movie/pivoting the legs and short. Also his hats going to blos off and gut is going to jiggle. I'll post it as soon as I can.
Ther shorts were sort of drawn after Lieutenant Dangel (I think thats his name) on reno 911.

The best thing in my opinion would be learn how to create people in photoshop. It looks like a paint drawn picture done by a 2 year old. Sure its hard to animate but take your time and make something amazing. Like use photoshop and create some characters and a world that has colors, shadows, lighting instead of just some black outlined nub stick. I could do that animate it in like 2 hours.

Sounds great Keith, I wanted my character to look cartoony. I don't want to blow you away with my photoshop skills

That was great!

But the arms and legs do look a bit like they are just sticks, you should make his elbows and knees pivet aswell.

Yes i agree with Jperson, the knees pivoting would make it heaps better.

still pretty cool. I have always wanted to try out flash animation. I iwll try it out soon. Is it hard to do? Do you just keyframe layers to move so it appears he is walking?
