Old Film Look

Post by Holdios »

I've got Premiere Pro 2.0. Can someone please give me the name of an effect or two to make my video look old black and white silent movie? All the noise and cr** on the picture? Thank you in advance.

the easiest way is to apply the old movie effect on your clip in windows movie maker. then, import it into premiere, and, (if it's possible, I don't know the program), using color balance, add a slight sepia tint to your clip. a thing to do is to very slightly accelerate the movie at some points, to give it an inconcistant speed so common with those old motorless movie cameras.

I'm pretty sure in Windows Movie Maker there is a filter that makes it look old/grainy.

There are filters like that in all of the cheap, amature editing programs (like pinnacle).

Use VirtualDub with this plugin http://www.compression.ru/video/old_cin ... ex_en.html
Read this: http://www.digitalvideoediting.com/arti ... p?id=26372 - it's for AE but it could help.
