Post by Jperson »

I need a free piece of software for an apple which does greenscreen / has multiple video tracks / can overlap videos. That's all I want, nice and simple. So is there anything out there, free, for Apples which does that???

no? I don't mean all of them, just one, are you sure, cause that would be annoying, cause that would mean I'd have to dig up 1 and sevenry something pounds to but Final Cut Express, where am I gonna get that from??????????

but Dr. Green does it for Windows, free, I'm pretty sure there is an Apple equivelent, I just need to find it…

Free software that does anything well? I dont think so.
Spend ur cash.
Or do the illegal way, but illegal is illegal and u shouldn't do it, because overpriced editing software piracy is a crime, and commiting a crime makes u a criminal, and u dont want to die a criminal, seeing as you will die early being shot in the back because some police man thinks ur illegal stash of editing programs is horrific, seeing as he knows that the editing programs are actual $1,000 programs, and u didnt make them ur self then burn them onto a disk, so what i say is: live long... dont copy.

You can get a demo version of some software and just do it within the demo period...

yeah, If you want to use imovie: http://www.stupendous-software.com/Stup ... index.html

you can do blue screen and blending free, but it watermarks the rest, so apply a letterbox afterwards or buy it....best I could do....

Maybe if you thought for two seconds and clicked on the link you'd see it allows a download for Mac OS X 10.4.2.

I never said you couldn't get it on mac, I was just commenting on the fact that the program is ugly.

I'd just like to point out that you can't get any software for fruit, free or paid for...

Dr. Green eh? That sounds useful to some poor person like me, lol. I'm pretty sure the Avid Free program doesn't have chroma keying on it I'm afraid. But, on the other hand, if you're seriously thinking about using it a lot, you might as well get a paid-for version. I'm thinking about it.

You won't find anything of that equivalence for free if you haven't found it already. I'd give up that quest and look into cheap editing programs. That's your best bet at this point.
