Premiere Pro Exports DV with Dropped Frames

I have just exported my timeline from Premiere Pro to a standard DV file. I've done this a hundred times before ... but this time the DV avi file shows "dropped frames" when I show its properties within Premiere.

I am exporting so I don't see how I can have 'proper' dropped frames. It appears as if Premiere is taking my empty black frames as being 'dropped'.

When I then try converting the DV file to XVID using AutoGK the video is corrupt in odd places (The end of the video appears three quarters of the way through). Not sure if the two are connected but it seems pretty stupid that Premiere thinks my DV file has got dropped frames just because some of them are empty.

I can create an MPEG2 export of the same timeline with no problems whatsoever.

Anyone come across a similar problem?

I've tried creating a HuffYUV export of the same timeline and that suffers the same problem as the XVID.

The DV looks ok when I view it.

HAve ahdthis problem but had no idea how to fix it. Sorry, jsut go with it and do whatever you need to.
