There is not really a lot to them. Experiment, twirl and catch them. Watch a Bruce Lee film lol.

Yeah, i had a clip from one of Bruce Lees films, and he repeditivly whacked at his chest, it looked painful. I have it on my computer somewhere and now that i know his name, again, i can watch it again, thanks! :)

Trust me, it will take years and years of practice to be as good and as fast as Bruce Lee. Like Grant said, watch "Enter The Dragon." It's a really good movie.

Ummm... yeah, im pretty good with my nunchucks, i can spin them for ages, and do an over shoulder pass, and catch it under my shoulder, an under shoulder pass, and a few other things. I dont think i really need to know many other moves or catches, but i obviously cant overuse them, or they will get boring.
I spent 1 and a half hours yesterday playing with weaponry (my whip, my staff, my nunchucks, my plastic sword that i like to cut lemons with) and it was really fun, and it hurt the muscles in my arms so much. It was hard this morning when i went to karate and had to do stuff, i was like, ow...

I was asking you if you could fight with them. Having studied Kobudo, I can tell you there is more to them than what films show you. Their techniques mirror your Karate moves. Many blocks, strikes and grapples.

Watch "Sidekick" it has some cool nunchuck moves and it shows a person learing on them. (Lots of painful crotch hits.)

lol Rhys, what style of Karate do you do? It would take too long to explain. Basically the nunchaku, like many Japanese weapons, mirror the same actions as fighting empty hand. Eg lower block, raising block, forward punch, knife hand etc etc

Ask your teacher about them. Or do a search on a weapons legend called Fumio Demura, or the word KOBUDO
