Widescreen Dilemma

Post by TroubledCobraStudios »

im in a bit of a moral dilemma you might say. My camera does not shoot in widescreen yet i want to put my latest movie into widescreen. Ive come to the conclusion that no matter how i do it, it is going to have a "squished" image. So my dilemma, put it in widescreen with squished picture, or leave it how it is.

Anyone's thoughts on the matter?

I wouldn't sacrifice image quality to have widescreen picture...it just looks bad. You could film in normal 4:3, keeping widescreen in mind, and crop the image in post. What camera are you using?
