Greenscreen fall

Post by Metronome »

I made a little green-screen video of my sister falling from space, and incinerating upon entry into the atmosphere. Any tips?

I don't want to reshoot, and youtube won't accept me... Can you give me tips of how to make it look more realistic effects wise?

I would zoom out towards the end of the clip to give more feeling of falling. It feels to much like the background is moving rather than the person.

Why is your sister A) falling through the freaking ionosphere without a space suit? B)falling faster than gravity ever could pull her? and C) NOT EVEN REMOTELY CONCERNED ABOUT THE ENTIRE SITUATION?

C) it was supposed to be flying but that proved impossible and A-B) this wasn't meant to be scientifically acurate. I made it because I was bored.

i couldn't really tell what was happening to be honest, if you used a greenscreen for your sister why does it appear to be a static image, is it?

could try and reshoot it?

just goes to show you how crappy something comes out if you put no effort and work on it for 5 seconds... this isn't a stab at you most the people around here do the exact same thing allll the time.

Claiming it as a test is the easiest way to say you were lazy.

That's why you have to slave over it like a work dog and get weak with frustration and hate every minute. then in the interview you would say in retrospect it was fun and you love doing it.

Arronv2: I agree with half of the things ur saying about us, but... If you were truely a good filmy dude u would know how to do things and make them look well and not have to pretend that u had fun, and actually have fun. And besides, half of us are on this site because we do it for fun.

that was alright, except as everyone else i have to say film it again with a couple of fans below her and her arms and legs flailing about. i dont really understand why you dont wanna re-shoot it, i mean how freakin long could it take?10-20sec, 30 at the most. okay editing will prob take just a little bit longer, but you WERE bothered to do it in the first place and upload it and share it here.
and by the way, sign up to video.google.com and download the uploader :?. oh and what do you mean you tube wont accept you?
