RE: Finally got a HVX200
Ha! Well sure, but its a long way to Scotland!
At the mo tho, we're having to wait about 3 - 4 months before we can get a few P2 cards, (hopefully will have come down by then) and a new editing system.
For the next few months I'll make some shorts on 16:9 native standard def, and post up the clips.
Yep its i reckon the best of the HD camreas in the price range of 5000$ but the JVC100 is a cracker too! Worth checking that out Gyro (or the XL2 if ur poorer) or the DVX100b if ur poorer still, and so on!

Mad camera. I wish I had the money... In Australia they are like $10,000.
Can you post some stills of the video, I am thinking of buying a HD camera maybe next year so just interested in the quality of the videos like.

Nice, i really really really need a decent camera i've got a MV750i (which i got 3 years ago to start out with) and there isn't any point using it if you want anything that looks (or sounds) professional. It's got 1CCD and only has a internal stereo mic with no mic inputs, which is really bad. I think the only plus side to it was that it came with a wide angle lens attachment, but even then that was cr**.
