Sorry to re-post this but i think i initially posted it in the wrong section, to any admin please delete the other post if you wish..

I want to re-create this effect that i cut myself while shaving, much like Scorsese's short film The Big Shave, i'm sure it's not that hard but i guess i just need to be pointed in the right direction..

does anyone have any ideas on how they did this effect? The blood coming out of the razor? Did they have a tube attached to the razor with blood in it? I have to know!

Ah, there is a magic trick where you steal a thread from someones clothes, swallow it, then pull it "through" your stomach out the skin.

This is done by having an extra layer of 'skin' (usually dyed/painted latex). You could create an extra piece of skin and have a blood pocket behind that, then close-up slice it with the razor and have the blood dribbling out, then cut to a longer shot with more blood dripping down. You could have a small bottle of fake blood in your hand and as you cover the wound, press the bottle and bleed through your fingers?

experiment and play.

just have a small buld syring and attach a small fish tank tubing to it, squeeze the bulb and put the other und at end of razor thanks for the idea i might do it.

do exactly what traxx said but dont forget to hide the tubing and make sure the tubing doesnt come out of your clothes

Know of any pages that give step by step instructions on how to use Liquid Latex?

Like to definately experiment around with it, how do you think i would put a blood pocket behind it though? that bit has got me buggered.
