Interesting effect--were you spinning on a stool? The light seemed to follow the camera around your body.

pretty uhh interesting...

alright firstly you need to make it look like your more in the air from jumping, and not just looking like your sitting on a magic carpet.
and it would probably also look good if you slowed down the movement more...and maybe added in a nice sound effect to make it feel more like bullet time.

also the spin ddnt seem to match up with the jumping at all..
good attempt though, you should keep trying...

Vor's right, by the end of the spin the background is moving faster than he is.

It looked good, did you use the morphing technique on the site which i can't remember...

Keep practicing that, it will come out really good, try and get a full body one with some more realistic looking shots throughout.

no i used a blue screen and had my mate spinning on a blue chair in front of it. then i filmed the background and composited. much easier than morphing.

The problem with that technique is that you can tell it's realtime. But still doesn't look bad if you do it right I'm sure. You do need to try to move the camera instead of the stool though; like I said, the lighting gives it away that the stool/person is the thing spinning and not the camera.

I think what he's saying is that he jumps into the air and then suddenly he's sitting on a "magic carpet" and spinning. Basically the body position and momentum isn't the same from shot to shot. At least I think that's what he meant.
