So i am going to build a Jib...
Right, since i have finished school just the other day, i now have shitloads of free time in summer. Apart from getting a job, i have decided to build a jib arm crane for my camera. I will post up pictures and info over the next few weeks or so. So far, i have made a tiny model out of plasterboard, just so i know what i am doing. Wish me luck!
Oh, and also, has anybody done this before and have any tips or anything? Cheers

I've seen this done plenty of times using Joren Clark's tutorial. Check it out at his site, http://www.jorenclark.com.

It is a lot simpler than you think. Can this be done? of Course it can! Many people have done it before. I should be starting it tomorrow or if not, some time this week.Nba185 wrote:I'm not sure. but can this be done?

Right its finished!!! Cost me bout £20-£25 to build and i am pretty pleased with the outcome. Despite my shitty craftsmanship and my DIY skills, it didn't turn out half bad. I will post pictures and some footy soon.
