So i am going to build a Jib...

Right, since i have finished school just the other day, i now have shitloads of free time in summer. Apart from getting a job, i have decided to build a jib arm crane for my camera. I will post up pictures and info over the next few weeks or so. So far, i have made a tiny model out of plasterboard, just so i know what i am doing. Wish me luck!

Oh, and also, has anybody done this before and have any tips or anything? Cheers

It is a lot simpler than you think. Can this be done? of Course it can! Many people have done it before. I should be starting it tomorrow or if not, some time this week.

Right its finished!!! Cost me bout £20-£25 to build and i am pretty pleased with the outcome. Despite my shitty craftsmanship and my DIY skills, it didn't turn out half bad. I will post pictures and some footy soon.
