Dirt explosions & more..

Just wondering how can I make a small bomb so dirt will fly up and also we have a small wodern thing out in the bush (not very strong), I am wondering is there any way to get all the wood to fly up? & it to fall, it's only a few branches over a rock so nothing to big..

Theres a thread already for this, It involves lying a plank on a log then when running jumping on the plank and sending the other side flying in the air with dirt on it.

What's a thunderpipe? I assume it's a pipe filled with compressed air so it can shoot stuff out of it but I've never heard of any that you could buy (I always thought you had to make your own). If anyone has any links to a site or pics it would be appreciated.
