Post by rhys »

Hey last night i got bored, so i made a bullet shell test. I got the shell of a friend who found a jar of them when he bought a car.

Did you stick the 9mm on the end of a pencil or something and wave it past the screen?

The in-between clip is way too slow. It needs to move much faster.

You'd probably be better off doing the "toss the shell from off-screen" for this type of shot, then roto-ing out the shell in the portion prior to the gun firing. Then you could leave out the middle scene altogether. (It is kind of distracting, especially at that speed.)

Yeah, usually a test involves work for us to critique and show you how to do it better.

You tossed a bullet shell.

If you want to make thousands of small "tests" and show us them then just put them all to gether in maybe... a movie?

You seem to put up a lot of fighting and gun tests but never a movie...when can we expect a full-fledge movie (aka 10minute short or something)?

If Pinnacle wouldn't let you either speed down or slow up the in-between of the casing, I'd removei t alltogether.
If it can be written, or thought, it can be filmed.

Yeah im still working on the title and the very first scene, then the rest of the movie. Do you think it should be called 'fight for survival' or 'battle of the undead'? I am really confused to what to do though, because i dont have that many friends who like makin movies, or are good at it.

I have a question. I noticed that in your various training fims, you always seem to be spinning around and shooting. Why? It seems you always know that something is lurking just behind you.

What was that? You fire... and then the shell floats in mid air... and then hits the ground? Doesn't really make sense what is going on.
