Liquid Latex

Do you guys know how to use liquid latex? Ive heard its really good for make up (cuts/lacerations/burns) and ive ordered a bottle. Ive looked into how to use it, but just want to know first hand opinions on the stuff.

they look sweet, i'd like to see if you can do it on say an arm

i did make them on my arm originally, but you can peel them off after and re-use them. Theyre in the fridge at the moment setting fully. Once theyre done ill take some photos of them on body parts.

I bought my stuff from there, and used some flour to thicken it up and a blowdryer to help keep it in place longer.
They suggest leaving it over night to set, but im going to refrigerate it for a few hours and see how it is after that.
Trial and error mainly, its quite fun making though lol.

It might help you. The technique you use is more suited for burned skin effects, where you apply a nice coat of latex on the skin, and pierce & peel it so that it's all teared up and bumpy, like a third degree burn. If you want more details, just ask! I'll be happy to give you advices, tips, and tricks.

I would darken up the wounds tho looks like jello.but still pretty good.

I put my liquid latex in MY toaster oven, not for cooking. I think at around 180F for 20 minutes. You should make the moulds out of dried plaster though, the water in the latex comes out and goes through the plaster making it quicker to dry.
