RE: Parachute?!
Get a large amount of white clothe. Like a hug sheet. If you could get a silk sheet (parachute silk) that would most likely be best but w.e would work. Depending on what kinda of chute you are making, cut it into a large rectangle or circle and buy some parachute chord (shouldnt be very expensive) and use that to tie it up
Good luck

You can buy real military surplus parachutes anywhere from $20-100. Just keep looking

although the cords and harness have been removed for "military safety regulations. " what ever that is, i reckon it would make a pretty cool prop and with a little parachute cord on, it could be really effective on filmctbullet wrote:http://www.surplusandadventure.com/isho ... r1306.html

Basically all that is left is a giant white sheet with holes in it... If you are going to spend that much money, at least find a complete parachute.a.qotsa.fan wrote:although the cords and harness have been removed for "military safety regulations. " what ever that is...

At best, you could take your bedsheet and cut crescent shape holes in it. Find similar looking ropes and I doubt many would see a difference.
