EYEBALLS!

Greetings everybody,

I'm making a short snuff style movie,wherein i rip my eye out,i'm doing it for the craic and whatnot.......

Does anyone know any materials that look like eyeballs?

The camera is pretty close to my face...

my cousin works at a candy shop and i was there one day with her and i found some gummy eyeballs that look fairy real. with some blood around it (because you are ripping it from your face) it would look very convincing.

Yeah,kinda.

It's a take off of a scene in a japanese mini series called 'Mpd psycho'

I've got a video of the scene i'm trying to emulate if you want me to e-mail it to you......

Would tomato ketchup mixed with some water create realistic blood?

look at the blood sestion of the forum for the blood!, for the eyeball, if all elsge fails a condom filled with glycerine mixed with petroleum jelly creates a good eyeball to cut to if you need to sqush it.

I found a gelatin eyeball recipe on the net and i'm gonna try it tommorrow,to see if i can get some good looking eyeballs(tasty too!).

No, tomato sauce/ketchup doesn't ever turn out well as i have found out.
Make my kinda blood!
Have like one cup of corn syrup and then just add some red and green food dye, until its like black and then when the blood goes to the side of the jar its like red.

Usualy only ladies deodourant comes in the ball type. With guys it tends to rip out hairs and such. (DO NOT ask me how I know this, okay?)

Why not go the real thing..go to your local butcher and ask for some sheep/pig eyeballs. They throw them out and would give them to you if you told them what it was for. Much more realistic than using candy

I'll experiment and see what i come up with

you tie off the end of the condom, I havnt attempet it, but this was the method they used in Zombie Flesh Eaters (zombi 2) with the famous wood throught the eyeball scene

I've just setup the gelatin eyeballs recipe now and in 4 hours i'll post how it got on.I'm not expecting anything big...

If that fails i'll try the easy eyes thing.

not that found of pigs eyes, ya not a veggie are you- dam veggies,

he whole deordrant ball idea looks good but it'd have no lee-way as in squishiness and bloody wouldn run too well off it

You could close your eye too and have someone color your eyelid black so it will look like there is a hole where your eye should be

That sounds pretty cool, i kinda wanna get some stuff from the butchers just to make a really gross scene for a movie, but uh, how do u exactly go down to a butchers and ask for an eye, or intestines?
