yes veins I meant it is dark blood , I cant post photos but heres a quick toturial all you need is screen material, latex, red make up paint. first cut the screen so it fits over your eye and then, put latex on a mirror and peel off,put latex strips over the screen.also add fresh scab around eye and spit blood .

how about not being a wuss and just going down to the butchers and saying

"Hey, I'm a filmmaker, and I'm looking for some intestine or eyeballs. do you have anything like that, that maybe you throw out that i can use?"

if he seems unlikely to say yes, offer to credit his business in the credits. that usually works, when you're low budget.
