How do i capture video off my handycam in premiere?

you can get one online so easy go to the place where you got the ILLEGAL software and get it why don't cha ( this was a joke haha?)

or go to the adobe.com and get that manual.... OR go to help in premiere

he is trying to download video off a HANDYCAM, nothing to do with software. unless he is using a copied version of his camera, he isnt pirating. more likely it is a secondhand version or an older camera.

im getting it off a handycam but it says device offline when i try to capture from it.
