Star Burst Gun Flashes?

Has anyone got any gun flashes for me to edit in using Premiere that would be useful for when the firing gun is pointed at you. Like a Star burst effect maybe?

Try drawing them in Paint Shop Pro's Animation Shop! Although I'm not sure if it'd look any good =/

OK. I'm just posting this, because it's easy to say and up to you to actually pull it off

Supplies:
Camera [C]
Mirror \
Sparkeler >S<

Setup:

>S<
|
|
\------ [C]

Film the sparkeler this way to get a zero-G, coming right at the camera, effect without risking debris on the lens or mechanics.
Make sure the background is just black.
If you apply a good bit of gaussian blur and some brightness /contrast to the video, you should end up with HUNDREDS of unique, head-on muzzle flashes.
