Thats crazy, but opens the ultimate paradox... if you kill yourself you cant then go back in time to kill yourself so you would still be alive, but if you were still alive then you could go back and kill yourself. Things seem so clear at 1am after an essay on Machiavelli...

It is excellent, It gets the point across in such a short time as well.

If you believe in one universe then you can't go back in time... period.

You can however distort time in order to travel to the future.

OR

If you believe in the bridge theory then yes you can go back in time and yes you can kill yourself because time doesn't exist in an infinite probability of alternate universes.

or at least thats what I have come to think.

the only thing that annoyed me was the credits, why were the rolling one by one, waiting for the other to leave the page

i think everyone here is thinking too deeply about time travel, in reality only a black hole can alter time

a black hole alters time because space time is curved and travels through different densities and a different rate. Because black holes squish all matter into a finite point it slows down space time. Its not the only way to distort time and you wouldnt even dream of using a black hole to travel in time you would get killed before you even got close.

Then you have to think about wormholes and the theory of relativity. Someone traveling faster in space than another on earth will age slower and all that jazz but the technology won't be there for a while yet. Would be an interesting experiment tho. Or even a movie. A guy spends years by himself alone on a shuttle comes back and its 50 years later. science is cool
