Buzz tracks?

Post by q1tv3 »

Does anyone here use buzz tracks?

It is when you record the sound of just air in a silent area, then put it in your movie during quiet scenes because if you dont it sounds "too quiet"

It isnt always the sound of air though! If people are in a kitchen you may put a fridge buzzing to make it sound more real. or if your scene is outside in the winter you might want to use wind as your buzz track.

I have noticed many films posted on here dont use buzz tracks.

I think you guys should because buzz tracks can realy set the mood of a scene. For example: if you wand a cold winter day use feirce wind as a buzz track, if you want a relaxed person at home use loud breathing (not panting). ect.

It is a very good idea to use these because sound is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT things to make a movie look real and good.
All we are saaaying.....is give peace a chance!

Buzz tracks are essential in every production, audio is half the movie.
