How To Make A Dream effect?

iight i;m lookin for a dream effect caz i have this kid havin a bad dream n i wanna make it look lyke clouds or sumthin. i'm usin final cut pro if that helps

to do a dream, give it a white tinge with a white border which slowly fades in your footage. i find that works very well

If you have a "glow effect" or a "blur effect" that can make it look more dreamlike...and try a blue white balance. That can either be done with color correction in post or while you're filming it.
