Taking decent screen captures in Premiere Pro.

Post by Combat_Mike »

I find every time I take a screencap from Premiere there are often small interlace errors and fuzziness that are definitely not from the original video..

Does this have anything to do with the pixel aspect ratio of the images themselves? Or is there something else I’m not considering when exporting the images?

Have you tried ...

File > Export > Frame > Settings > Keyframe & Rendering

and then click the box that says "Deinterlace Video Footage"

Click Ok > Click Save

Yes I have actually, if it’s not then it may be the pixel aspect ratio needs to be changed?

My screenshots here can be used as reference.
