Ok so my movie is going over budget

i was about to be spending 300$ for a infantry uniform and then about 170 on BDUS and 60 on boots but the i found that i had to get a new camera and a new comp and new editing software, can you guys really help, and if im notgiving enough info on it please tell me and ill fill you in. Im tryig to get a gl2 and adobe premire pro(well i can get pro for 288 so thats not a prob)

i need:
6 infantry US uniforms, one is a officer
7-9 german uniforms
1 german general uniform
2 us general uniforms

Yes. You should do that rather than pay $288. That'll save you quite a bit there. Instead of spending money on a new camera and computer, you could always borrow from someone or an organization if you can convince them.

You do realize that you're not going to find a GL2 for under $1,000, and it's pretty much the same way with Premiere Pro unless you can get a student discount? Hope you've got a job.

ok yah, but i was thinking actually doing things with the law on my side, i know its wicked hard to get caught but, yah, my parents would not go for it. yah, ok i have the electronics figured out what about uniforms can anyone find them cheap or a rental near Cape Cod MA

It's the american version of the Canon XM2 - a very good camera indeed. Retails for around Ã‚Â£1500 here in the UK...

i brought adobe premiere pro on ebay for 12.99 its probably fake but its exactly the same

Technically its not illegal because if you get the trial version, and BUY a cd-keygen, it becomes fully legal because you have an authentic Cdkey and serial number. Zac was merely asking all of us on how to save money - And doing illegal/semi-illegal stuff is a definate way of saving money; although the consequences are no laughing matter. I was merely suggesting a viable, though not often followed way of saving cash. Anyway, thats beside the point. I shallnt say anything more since its obviously against the rules of this forum. But in the part of the world I currently live at, you can go to a neighboring country and buy software for $7! (But I wont say anymore lest I get banned

Maybe and maybe not, it depends on how the license for the software is written. Some licensing prohibits ANY transfer of the license rights, others rewuire a fee to transfer the rights, some don't restrict rights. A prime example is OEM operating systems. Say yo purchase a computer loaded with Windows as an OEm install ( what it always will be ), this copy of Windows is licensed to the COMPUTER, not you. it must stay with the computer. What does this mean? Say you get a great deal on a new computer with no OS, you cannot legally install the copy of Windows that came with your first PC on the new one. If you sell or give away the original machine, the software goes with it. And now here is the part that really trips people up, let's say you upgrade the processor and Mother Board of the original PC, guess what, legally you must purchase a new copy of Windows, since a MoBo replacement is considered a different computer. License compliance is a major cluster, and unfortunately a major part of my job description LOL. Do not assume that just because one vendor allows you to transfer a license that all do, and do not assume "Hey I paid for it, I can do what I want with my copy!"

ok well update... i got adobe permiere pro and Magic Bulleteditors for 400$ with a student disounts.. ok
i just now need 4 American Infantry (which i put alltogether with guns as aroung 750... trust me i calculated it and found the stuff
i don't need german soldier uniforms, im getting reenactors
but i need the german(one of these) and american (2 of these) general uniforms

I bought well kind of bought Avid off ebay for $40 but before i could send the money they through him off ebay although he did hav 100% feedback oh well.
