timecode - Need your help quick

I am editing and i need a timecode so i can have the time run and then freeze. or frame hold. i cannot do this in Primere so i am in after effects and i do everything right. But i dont how to freeze it or frame hold can anyone help me quick

Adobe Premiere can do it. Go to 'change clip duration'. If you put the frame rate at 10% or near 0%, the frame will more or less freeze up. Alternatively, a more primitive method for frame hold would be to use Windows Movie Maker and take a still of the frame you want to hold and then export it to Premiere whereby you can insert it in at an image. Make your cliip run up to the image and then hold it there.
