Premiere problem

Post by NGFilms03 »

Hey, I'd really be grateful for any help you guys can give me? I'm fairly new to using Premiere and I'm having some trouble rendering out in widescreen. I've filmed and captured in widescreen, and it looks the right frame size in the little screen while I'm editing, but when I render out and try to play the film in media player, its all stretched out to the normal aspect ratio. Any idea how I can sort this out?

When you create your new project in premiere, it has you specify all the settings you want for it. Try starting a new project, There should be a folder for NTSC and PAL. select which ever you use, then under that there should be a format called Standard 32KHz, Standard 48KHz, Widescreen 32KHz, and Widescreen 48KHz. Select the one to your taste, and there you go. That should work. Let me know if it doesnt...

Try changing the pixel aspect ratio in the options when you go to render the video to 1.2.
