sorry then,

hot cases are a right bast, i love shooting normal rifles and ejecting the case quickly by pulling open the bolt, you feel real powerful when the case flies across the room, fun stuff

On my last training wekend, I got hit on the hand and on the cheek about 1/2 inch below my eye with a shell casing from an SA80. I wasnt happy about that much but it wasnt as bad as I had expected.

I've learned in reenacting, not to stay on the right side of a Thompson sub-machine gun. The casings will fly over ten feet and are usually hot. 8)

I just recently got a Ruger P97DC. It shoots .45 ACP ammo. I love it! It's so acurate! Anyway, when I went to the range, the shells hit me in the forehead a couple of times. It wasn't that bad, but I think it's always a good idea to wear goggles when shooting. It would not feel good to get hit in the eye with hot brass...

you've got to be a bit of a girl to wear googles in a blank firing ex..... what is the chance of going blind,

in the middle of a battle, please don't shoot me in the crotch, i don't want to be impotant.............

can you really see it?

Hey, I wear glasses. Otherwise I would wear goggles. Call me a girl all you want... but when a recoil spring splatters your face with grease, you'll be happy you wore something. I've gotten peppered with from my own weapon before. Gunpowder residue in the eyes isn't very fun either, so keep your rifle clean. ;)

Wearing safety glasses is the smart thing to do. I usually do not matter what im shooting, even .22 brass hurts in your eye

I'll get some pics of my blank firing weps up soon.

ctbullet, you've obviously never received a blast of gunpowder residue in the eyes, have you? Besides, blanks eject hot brass too. Why take chances?

But goggles on a TX especially blank firing is not very tac, and most uncomfortable.

Yeah its nice. The main reason I buy airsoft guns is becasue...The look real and are great for movies. So I have never owned any other airsoft rifle like it, which means im not really qualified to comment. It is a good gun tho. I play around with my brothers and we have a lot of fun at it : )

My cousin Bianca was firing a shotgun and the casing flew out and hit her in the eye, doesnt sound like a nice thing to do, and i think she got bruised on the shoulder from the recoil.
