Explosion thow back

In my movie im writing in a explosion which thows back the two main characters into a wall. Does anyone have any ideas how to do this?

If you're doing it the cheap way, have the explosion's light in their face in slow motion, cut to them jumping back with a lot of force but have the camera kind of close so you can't tell how big of a throwback they are getting hit by. (For the throwback have them squat then push off with all their force and just edit the squatting part out)

Use real explosions?

You could try the classic pull a rope tied to the actor.

I kinda like: have the actor get hit by a car, then key out the car. Looks great!

I would probably go with rope to the belt through hole in the wall pulled by as many people as you can find, timed with a small jump to get them airborne. Key out or hide the rope with creative camera angles.

That's pretty hard to do. When you have seen the making of from bourne conspiracy - you can waste a lot of money for such a thing.

Maybe I would try Bungie Jumping, film them from the ground.

I say, go buy one of those small trampolines and have the actors run, then jump on the trampoline onto the wall.....

A mini trampoline would work, have it at an angle so the lower side is facing the wall. With clever camera work you should be able to jump on the tramp back into the wall with ease.

Bourne conspiracy? You mean, bourne supremacy. I woudlnt suggest tieing a rope and pulling anyone into a wall, thats a really good way to get a concusion.
