MP40

Post by ct_bullet »

there was a post online not long ago talking about MP40 bb guns, someone posted a link to a british website selling them for £35, this was supposed to be ww2 related although the mp40 for sale had a scope and laser sight, whih was detachable

i went to a car boot sale this morning and there was a guy selling air rifles, bb guns, porno, that kinda of thing

and to our shock there was the exact mp40 we had our eyes on for the past few weeks

brand new fully sealed for £10, an absolute bargain, my mates birthday had just passed and he had some money so he atomatically bought one, and i hope to get one in a couple of weeks

i will post a few pics in a few days of our german soldier impression

(not really a question here, just kinda to brag, and please don't try to out do us too much because we're really proud of it)

cya

I got mine from ebay for $10, and another $10 for shipping.

I just got my greasegun, I'll post my pics for that once my dad brings it over.

It did take a while to get all the stuff.

Your german outfit is much better than mine (just a trenchcoat and a helmet).

I got my MP40 on ebay for $10, and the greasegun on kapowwe.com for around $30 something including shipping.

And it's aimmed at my sister.

HA! But I've seen some for $30.

I only have two German outfits, and that's all I really need.

Yeah, CT, Greasegun is slang. It's the nickname for the M3 and M3A1 sub-machine guns of WW2. They were made from steel stampings to reduce cost and were chambered for the .45 Auto cartridge, although I believe there were also different caliber models. Towards the end of the war they started to phase out the Thompson because of how cheap and easily producable they were. They were also used through the Vietnam war if I remember correctly. Oh, and the name "Grease Gun" came from their resemblance to the grease guns used in auto shops.

Yea, each greasegun came with another barrel which could be screwed off and replaced with 9mm.

I can't remember but didn't they have a grease reseviour (SP!) in the grip: I heard that somewhere.
