Make a flamethower In 2 Minutes

Post by Spartan_Monkey »

Ok, people have said that im a wack job for doing this, and I do admit its kinda dangerous.
Anyway all you need is:

Flamable Liquid (im so desperate I use deodorant :) x1
Water Gun x1
Lighter x1

1. Pour you flamable liquid into the gun, screw on the lid.

2. Pump the water gun until it cant pump anymore.

3. Hold the lighter up to the gun. DONT GET YOUR HANDS IN THE WAY.

4. SHOOT!!! . Simple.

The flame streaches about 3-4 meters. If your smart enought you'll build a thingy to hold the lighter infront of the gun instead of your hand.

Ok tell me what you think, I need to be told if I am a whack job or not.

i think everyone will have a go

i've done it before with a water pistol, and as for the flame, i attached some paper towel (on fire) to the pistol via headphones, was all i had at the time, might film it next time

Well, I suppose it'd work, but I'm more concerned about melting my water gun to be honest :D

LOL I just use crappy $2 ones so I dont care, however, in one of my freinds first attempts he used my $30 one. And somthing went wrong and the hole gun exploded. Im still a tiny bit p*** off with him because of that even though it almost blew off his hand.

yeah you dont want to release the flow of flamable liquid to fast other wise the liquid could catch flame and go back into the gun (I'd guess that is what hapened to your freind and your 30 dollar gun)

No, the faster the better, it's like pouring gasoline into open flame, it'll go straight back into the can. High pressure stuff is much harder to explode that way, but limiting the time you fire it also helps.

Dont use a lighter...a safer tool would be the BBQ clicker- you know the one you use to light up gas top stoves etc
