Shotgun Mic Windscreen

Post by GLiO »

My production crew is looking for a good windscreen for our shotgun mic. I have seen the ones big production studios, they look big and fuzzy and kind of feathery. Where can I get one of these? I live in the US, are there any websites to get these from?

Your going to need somthing fluffy, passably a large sock, or a feather boa, (Camclub's idea) it just needs to be a soft somthing. Just try things out.

You could just imagine it couldn't you, a group of tough geezers, dressed up in army gear, filming their latest "We kicked Rambo's butt to Alaska" movie, wnd they have this feather boa dangling from a microphone boom!
