Im writing a script for my new movie im going to make it a feature length, and am trying to get it to go for around hour and a half but am having torouble trying to come up with ideas to make the stroy go that long. Would it be better to write the script trying to make it long enough for an hour and a half or write the story and see how long it would go for when im finished?
Im starting to think I should just write it and see how long it will be in the end (mostly because it will probably be a better story). Just want tn know your opinions.

Write up a basic outline of the story first. Remember for a feature length film, that lasts an hour and a half you'll need at least 90 pages.

yeah, id say to just plan out a basic timeline of events. Make sure you include the most important parts concerning the plot, then you can start coming with different action scenes or whatever. What is it gonna be about?

it depends on how important the length of the movie is, if it has to be an hour and a half then write it based on how long ti should be, but if not write the script jus based on story first then if possible try to make it longer if its too short.
