Why do they think he's an alien? That seemed kind of out of place...If you build a backstory, if he comes to earth or something, this could be quite good.

Haha, I was thinking it sounded a bit "been done," until you brought in the alien bit. Do they literally think he's an alien? More importantly, IS he literally an alien?

Something big should happen to him, or he should be a real alien. Like job said, movies about a lonely kid who finds a dog, good friend, teacher etc. are kind of overdone, but if you can find a way to make this one diffrent, it should be really good. lol monkey brains...

He should be someone important or know someone important, or have some talent that makes him diffrent and an outcast. Or find something, like money in "Millions". Something should just make him unique, and since he's the main character, it will make the story unique. Or have him be a real alien.

That's better than what I thought of! Good title by the way. He talks to aliens, which makes him weird to all the other kids. Post a script if you can, this sounds good.

one little twist you could throw in at the end is that once he impresses the girl of his dreams...he ends up not liking her, thinking that she's materielistic or something. The best way to make a twist at the end of a movie, is to have the main goal being pursued totally changed around. There could even be another girl that actually likes him, but hes to busy going after the other chic and doesnt notice her till the end....actually, now that i think about it, that kinda sounds like "Lucas", but hey its an idea
