I'd guess 14...
You might want to look for a beach, instead of using the greenscreen. Chromonator specifically takes out green/blue screen and Final Cut and Premiere are good editing softwares, but they're not free, I would spend a little bit of money if you're going to do something as big as D-Day. To get actors, ask your friends to ask all of their friends and put up flyers or something.

and you're 99 Almondo99? Anyways, youre right, dont use too much greenscreen. the environment that the 101st was in on D-Day should be pretty easy to recreate, just a forest and possibly a swamp or marsh or two, the nazis flooded the area that our paratroopers landed at with about 4-5 feet of water. The only thing you might need a green screen for is a scene with like anti-aircraft fire in the background, or if you plan on following a soldier all the way from the plane to the ground(like in Band of Brothers)the only reason i was asking about your age was because this kind of movie is a pretty large undertaking, i dont know if this is your first movie or anything, but still its pretty damn big.

And you're a sub adequate actor who plays Mr. Anderson in a trilogy of movies, Mr. Anderson?
If you're going to shot inside a plane, (or cheaply, a mini-van) you should use greenscreen for the outside action, planes, tracers, explosions etc. Doing an all-the-way-to-the-ground shot would be cool, but difficult if this is your first, or even second. And as Keanu said (kidding), if this is your first movie, you might want to do a ground battle or something, before doing one this big.
Lol, D-Day in a music video...

To be honest, I really dont think you could pull something like this off. Like mr. anderson siad, I can tell your a new guy. An optamistic director, wanting to make big BRILLIANT movies. I was like that too. But for a first film, doing a huge subject like d-day. Gonna take good special effects, costumes and etc. it will cost. Try samller projects first, dont jump the gun for the big films. Because it probally wouldent turn out right.
Visits? That would indicate visitors!
We are all here to make BIG HOME MOVIES!!! STOP PUTTING OTHER GUYS OFF. i BET YOU FAILED AND ARE SORE.To be honest, I really dont think you could pull something like this off. Like mr. anderson siad, I can tell your a new guy. An optamistic director, wanting to make big BRILLIANT movies

No, no, no. You can NEVER use other people's music EVER in your movie NO MATTER what. Legally that is... But, this sounds like a big undertaking, so make sure to plan everything very carefully.
You know what's a fun game? Take 3 Excedrin PM's and see if you can whack off before you fall asleep. You always win, that's the best part about the game. -Cal, The 40 Year Old Virgin

That's more illegal than just using the music, itself.windog wrote:get the music and change it just enought to be out of the copyright range.
