Copywrite rules

Post by Pubicface »

Anybody here know about copywrite music? Like if someone can use it in their movies and not have to pay any money? I know there are certain rules to follow. However I would like to use some songs without having to pay any money. So if someone can help me with any tips when using copywrite music.

do a search there are plenty of other threads here covering the topic.
General rule: If you do not own it then you have to ask permission or pay to use it

quick and easy solution, find local or unsigned bands music. If you are struggling, get in contact with me, I know heaps of band that would be willing to help you out by letting you use their music. But it all depends on what you are after...
