Like the teaser, obviously it looked like a bunch of kids, but well cut. I like the credit page at the end, looked professional. Where did you snag the music from, sounded like it fit the teaser.

Looks action packed! I liked the teaser. Some of the music sounded like it was from Spider Man, correct me if I'm wrong.

Ya, spiderman soundtrack helped fit it, then I gradually faded it to something else i cant remember.

And yes, this movie tries to capture the audience's attention with action, rather than a deep story-driven plot. Nevertheless, you'll need to see the movie youself.

Hahha, that comment "looked like a bunch of kids," keep in mind that we're 15, 16 year olds.

Alright, the movie will be shown on the forums when (or if) Matt himself adds it to the Film Gallery. In the mean time, comments about the "teaser" would be appreciated.

Prize for best muzzle flashes on this site goes to you!

Nicely edited! The Interlacing got a bit annoying but other than that it was great :D Looking forward to it

That was very very nice. It was really well cut, and for "a bunch of kids" looked very profesional.

I know man! Interlaced .wmv looked horrible, I had forgot to add the "deinterlace filter" to the .wmv file. The .AVIs are fine though, they're deinterlaced.

Anyways, I got many of those Swoosh sounds from actual trailers and some were from explosions with filters and reverse speed.

Your muzzle flashes are from Detonation Films, right?

It looks very good, I'll be watching the full movie later today, hopefully.

I liked the editing but honestly I won't be waiting for the full movie. I don't think some of the costumes were very good, I mean could the guy in the beret inhaling that cigar be any more obvious and I'm not even going to mention that moustache. By the way in the clip with the guy on the computer he needs to work on his fake typing. I'll try watching the movie but to be honest from the trailer I'm expecting it to look more like a parody than a serious movie.
P.S. In your legal note you said 'The characters and events depicted in this photoplay are fictious. Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental'. How can this be if one of the characters in your film is 'French President Jacques Chirac'.

way to go - make enemies on here before friends! only kidding. i thought theyve done well though. you can see them having fun making it which i think is the whole point of this site - fun filmaking. some people take stuff that is supposed to be light hearted way too seriously!

theyre all like 16 anyway so to make it look like theyve got distinguished characters theyve got no choice other than to don fake beards and over the top costumes.

I am gona reply to JK90 , in my position of producer of Dead Conspiracy.
First i just want to make something clear we are all AMATEUR kids who have fun when they are doing movies, we are all only 15 (to correct Passit) and our first priority while we were filming this movie was to have fun. You know what the budget for this movie was ? Take a guess !! the answer is $0. So with that in mind I want you to do a 20 minutes movie with 0 dollars and then we'll talk!! And for your information selling cigarettes to kids under 18 is illegal in Canada, so that’s the reason Xavier has a fake cigarette ( if you can do better in visual effects that’s good for you.)

I'll be watching for a movie from you

And I have one final advice for you if you don't like it don't watch it

The producer.

Glad you like the editing.

Yeesh, those props (or "customes," you say) were used for comedic reasons and to hide the young faces of the actor. As stated before, we're teenagers.

And the legal note is there stating that we legally have no idea Jacques Chirac was a name and/or a president of France. It was purely coincidental. I hope you understand the meaning of that statement :)

Don't get so huffy man. This guy was just telling you what he thought of the trailer. You're not always going to get praise for your work, and its best if you learn that early. Most of the time, its better to get criticisms, as it will help you to realize your mistakes and grow from them. And about making a 20 minute movie with $0, well it's been done by many people. I assure you, you're not the first, nor the last.

yeah you guys need to losen up. if you can't take criticism then don't bother posting your work. overall it looked pretty good and attention grabbing, except you really need to get rid of that fake moustache. i thought it was really good until it got to that part and then i started to hate it. the kid has blonde hair and a black moustache. so i suggest redo that scene without it and then the whole thing will be fine.

I agree with Carnage7p but also with JK90.
Some of the elements of the trailer looked pretty lame but God's sake get rid of that moustache.

Hi
I'd just like to say I'm sticking by what I said. I didn't like wahat I saw in that trailer and the purpose of a forum is to give me a chance to express what I think. I think the producer should take his own advice and if he doesn't like what I've got to say don't read it or if not don't put it on a forum and ask for
Any feedback, positive or negative,
Maybe if the budget was $0 that would explain why some of the costumes and props were so poor. But my advice is if it doesn't look convincing don't use it just for the sake of using it.

The whole point of a trailer is so that people can judge a movie. That is why they are so important make a poor trailer and no matter how good your movie is people aren't going to want to watch it.
