eJay 360 Soundtraxx - A good choice?
I have just bought eJay 360 Soundtraxx. Was this a good choice for, as Dennis Waterman would say, write the theme toon, sing the theme toon?

It was kind of buggy crashed a lot (the app) on some machines.
I think MAGIX Music Maker is it's sequel. I have recently bought MAGIX Soundpool 2005, that's a DVD with 8 gigs of royaltyfree sounds and sound loops. Pretty nice for pop, rock, funk, house etc. music (everything but classic). Especially when you want to compose nice soundtracks QUICKLY.
It also has a couple of FX Sounds. Explosions etc. I think it's pretty cheap.
it contains about 10 thousand WAV files, they may be used with other tools too. Everything is 44.1 kHz at 16 Bit stereo.
For classical soundtrack I'd rather buy some finihed tracks these days. Some very talented people sell their stuff on a royalty-free base on www.sounddogs.com - highy recommended.

I used eJay 360 Soundtraxx for the music for Hollow Point. I think it is quite fun. Obviously your tracks have a certain eJay sound but if you are not a real musican (I'm not!) then it is quick and easy to put together. I think I bought the software for £3-£4 so it is realllly cheap! A whole soundtrack for that sort of money truly is low-budget.

I do have dance ejay, but its kinda hard to make music that isnt dance or techno music with it, and it doesnt support video.
