Slick! I'll be making one of these in the near future. Shame the camera isn't controllable though.

True, but I really liked it because it was nice and simple. No fancy pulley systems etc.

The guy who designed it was using it mainly for filming items on a table-top with the camera above the table looking straight down.

Thats a really interesting set up, I'll have to make one of those sometime. It looks really interesting.
