I have a question that u r all probably gonna laugh at me for not knowing, but i was wondering what an experimental film is. and how its different from other films?

can be experimental with how it is shot, lighted, edited etc etc and even subject matter

SAG - the screen actors guild - has definitions for what the union defines as an experimaental movie.
