Futuristic movie props, what would they look like

Post by LizaTrainer »

I wanted to make a scene look like it's in the future.

So, when are we going to see this in action?
Ooh, french maid. Didn't expect me home from the whipped cream store so soon did you? And who's your lady friend?

Never I made it just to see what it would look like, and that project went on the back burner.

I don't think a third tire is necessary technically, but looks cool otherwise! To make it futuristic, use metallic parts and make everything shiny and smooth! :)

Looks good, just make sure it doesn't look too futuristic; otherwise it will be unrealistic.

I just meant that in some movies I've seen, they made futuristic objects look "too futuristic" by adding things to them that probably won't turn up in the future...like flying cars. But I think it (your design) looks fine as long as your scene doesn't take place in a couple of years. Very cool model, though.

P.S. It might be cool if your vehicle didn't run on gasoline...but on something else like solar power.

Just make it recognizable for what is is (A motorcycle) but don't go to overboard on the frills, or else people will be scratching their heads all day wondering what the hell that guy was riding

Or at least, if you're going to completley redesign something, at least have it still act like it's counterpart of today. An example is of a handgun (OF THE FUTURE) I designed that looks nothing like a standard 9mm, so I'm making sure it still uses bullets (As opposed to plasma, lasers, flaming rodents, etc.) so that it is at least semi-recognizable

I agree. It would be produced by Colt (OF THE FUTURE)
