Which one is better. I have to decide which one is going to my grandfather. I dont wanna be cheap but i want the best one. Lemme know

you would have too choose Pentium over Celeron, personally speaking

Celerons suck when it comes to floating point maths. Go for the Pentium 3.

If you can, get a P3 550, but the P3 500 is a nice and stable processor. We will see these coming up as second hand for many years to come. It was one of those "We can't do any more with technology at the moment, this is as good as it's going to get" moments. Personally, I think Intel have been struggling to advance the P4 processor family enough. Roll on the next generation.

This is why AMD have taken a chunk out of the market recently.

Celerons were a cut down version of the P3 processor, used for low-end systems.
