How did matt get that "Latest post" thing working on the home page... IF theres a script or something can I have it??? I cant figure it out... anyone?

It'll be a MOD (Modification) that Matt added into the forum php code somewhere. It'll only work with PNphpBB! (Post Nuke PHP Bulletin Boards)!

You wouldn't be able to see the php code, because the server generates HTML pages that are viewed by your web browser from the query made to it.

Yes.. check the post nuke website, they have that mod plus more. Contact me if you need help.. I know php and sql.

It is a Postnuke block called 'Multiblock' that comes as part of PNphpBB (this forum). I just activated it as a centre block via the Postnuke admin menu.

You would need a MOD - Look under the MODs section of www.phpbb.com
